Sheet 03 · Heritage and shopfront grants
Shopfront grants are local, short-lived and often fully allocated within months. We list a scheme only when we can point to it on the council’s own website, and we say when we checked and whether it was open.
Heritage Shopfront Grant Scheme · Lichfield City centre conservation area
A £400,000 scheme offering grants of up to £30,000 towards shopfront improvements within the Lichfield City centre conservation area. Expressions of interest are considered on a rolling basis until 31 March 2028, while funds last.

Then we hold no verified scheme for that council — which is not the same as there being none. Ask the council’s regeneration or conservation team directly, and search its website for “shopfront grant”. If you find a live scheme near Birmingham, we are happy to price a scheme-compliant design for the application.
